About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive People & Culture Admin Intern to support the People & Culture function in delivering efficient and compliant employee lifecycle processes. This role provides valuable exposure to People & Culture operations, including onboarding, employee data management, reporting, and compliance within a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support employee lifecycle administration (onboarding, contracts, record updates, exits)
  • Capture, validate, and maintain accurate employee data on HR systems
  • Assist with payroll input preparation and reconciliation processes
  • Maintain organised, POPIA-compliant employee records
  • Compile and support monthly People dashboards and reports
  • Provide first-line support for employee queries and escalate where required
  • Support compliance processes (Employment Equity, skills development, audits)
  • Assist with HR projects and initiatives

Minimum Requirements

  • Honours degree (NQF Level 8) in:
    • Human Resources
    • Industrial Psychology
    • Or related field
  • Strong interest in HR operations and People & Culture
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)
