About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive People & Culture Admin Intern to support the People & Culture function in delivering efficient and compliant employee lifecycle processes. This role provides valuable exposure to People & Culture operations, including onboarding, employee data management, reporting, and compliance within a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support employee lifecycle administration (onboarding, contracts, record updates, exits)
- Capture, validate, and maintain accurate employee data on HR systems
- Assist with payroll input preparation and reconciliation processes
- Maintain organised, POPIA-compliant employee records
- Compile and support monthly People dashboards and reports
- Provide first-line support for employee queries and escalate where required
- Support compliance processes (Employment Equity, skills development, audits)
- Assist with HR projects and initiatives
Minimum Requirements
- Honours degree (NQF Level 8) in:
- Human Resources
- Industrial Psychology
- Or related field
- Strong interest in HR operations and People & Culture
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)
